Cookie Policy
This document will allow you to understand our cookie policy and how your personal information is managed when you use our services. For more information about the processing of personal data on the website, you can also access our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites visited by the user send and store on their computer or mobile device, to be then sent back to the same websites during subsequent visits.
Thanks to cookies, the website remembers the user’s actions and preferences (such as login data, chosen language, font size, display settings, etc.) so that they don’t need to be re-entered when the user revisits the site or navigates between its pages.
Cookies are therefore used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring, and the storage of information about users’ activities while browsing a website. They may also contain a unique identification code that allows tracking of the user’s navigation within the site for statistical or advertising purposes.
While browsing a website, users may also receive cookies from different sites or web servers (so-called “third-party cookies”).
2. What are the main types of cookies?
There are several types of cookies, depending on their characteristics and functions, and they can remain on the user’s computer or mobile device for different periods of time:
Session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
Persistent cookies, which remain stored on the user’s device until a preset expiration date.
According to current Italian law, user consent is not always required for the use of cookies. In particular, “technical cookies”—those used solely to transmit a communication over an electronic communications network or strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user—do not require consent.
In other words, these are cookies essential for the operation of the site or necessary to perform activities requested by the user.
Also considered equivalent to technical cookies, and therefore not requiring explicit consent, are “analytics cookies” when used directly by the website operator (“first-party cookies”) to collect aggregated information about the number of users and how they visit the website—or, when provided by third parties, if tools are implemented to reduce their identifying power (for example, by masking significant portions of the IP address).
“Functionality cookies”, which allow users to browse according to selected criteria (such as language or selected products for purchase) in order to improve the service provided, also fall into this category.
Conversely, “profiling cookies”—those aimed at creating user profiles and used to send advertising messages consistent with the user’s expressed preferences during online browsing—require the user’s prior consent.

6. Cookie management
Users can decide whether or not to accept cookies by adjusting their browser settings.
⚠️ Note: Disabling all or some technical cookies may impair the functionality of the site’s reserved areas for registered users. Public content, however, remains accessible even if all cookies are disabled. Disabling third-party cookies does not affect browsing in any way.
Cookie management settings can be configured specifically for different websites and web applications. In addition, major browsers allow users to set different preferences for first-party and third-party cookies.
